Telecommunications Engineer
hiringDesign, implement and commission telecommunications and network infrastructure across residential, commercial and industrial projects — structured cabling, fibre-optic networks, IP security and communication systems.
- Design structured cabling, fibre and IP network solutions for client sites
- Prepare network diagrams, equipment specs and as-built documentation
- Install, configure and commission racks, switches, CCTV, VoIP/PABX and IoT systems
- Conduct Fluke, fibre and OTDR testing; diagnose and resolve faults
- Liaise with electricians, suppliers and clients to deliver certified outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronic, Electrical & Electronic, Network Engineering or a closely related field
- Experience with structured cabling, fibre-optic systems and IP networks
- Hands-on commissioning and fault-diagnosis skills
- Familiarity with CCTV, VoIP/PABX, access control or IoT systems is advantageous
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills
